Moral injury – initially noted in defence veterans – we now know affects many people – ambulance, police, other first responders, lawyers, veterinarians and more recently allied healthcare workers during the COVID 19 pandemic.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Australian and New Zealand Moral Injury Conference acknowledges the palawa people as the Traditional Custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania, including nipaluna/Hobart, where the conference will be held.

We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, culture and community, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples joining us for ANZMIC 2027.
