What is MIST?

MIST stands for ‘Moral Injury Skills Training’ which is a three-day intensive “Master Class” pastoral care workshop in Moral Injury and Pastoral Narrative Disclosure (PND) for fully qualified clergy, health care chaplains, emergency and first responder chaplains, and military chaplains. It is a certified course conducted by the Australian Defence Force, Directorate of Spiritual Health and Meaning, Mental Health and Wellbeing Branch.

The MIST Launceston course, which follows ANZMIC, is already full, and all attendees have been sent official Administrative Instructions confirming their attendance. If you have any queries about MIST please immediately contact Senior Chaplain Andrew Watters. Email: MHW.DSHM@defence.gov.au
